U13 (YEAR 7) FINAL TRIAL

Thank you to all the boys and girls who attended the trials on Tuesday. It was the first opportunity for many of you to be involved, and we were hugely impressed by your enthusiasm, energy, and effort. As we said on the night, this selection process offers only a brief window to assess players, and decisions are never easy. We’ve reviewed the footage and reflected carefully, and from that, we’ve selected a group of players we believe may be ready to progress this season. For those not selected this time, please know there will be further opportunities in the future — both this year and in the years ahead — and we strongly encourage you to keep playing and developing.

Please see the names below of those invited to the final trial on Thursday 10th July, 5.00–6.30pm @ Penryn College.

To those who were not selected on this occasion, please take great pride in having been nominated to trial. Selection is highly competitive, and we know many of you were very close. Player development isn’t linear, and we all grow and improve at different rates. Please keep playing, training hard, and enjoying your football — there will be more chances.

All of our coaches continue to watch school matches and monitor players throughout the year, so a 'no' today certainly doesn’t mean a 'no' forever.

Thank you once again to all players and families for your time, commitment and energy throughout this process. We really appreciate it.

U15 (YEAR 9) FINAL TRIAL

Thank you to all the boys who came to the trials on Tuesday. As was said on the night, we are so impressed with the resilience of boys who continue to trial and equally the dedication of those previously selected. As we said on the night, the selection process is limited given the small snapshot of time we get to see the boys. Regardless, having watch the Veo and assessed the group we have chosen a cohort who we think might be ready to go forward this season.

Indeed, we all develop at different speeds and stages, so please do keep playing, working hard and you will continue to improve.

All of our coaches across the age groups are actively watching school games on a regular basis so please note a ‘no’ now isn’t a ‘no’ forever.

Many thanks again to all players and parents for your support and efforts in attending the trial. You should all be very proud.
